Finally on the bandwagon. Follow us at @azwinesouth for new inventory updates, tastings, open bottles, and drop in tastings. These Drop ins will give the first 5-10 people to call in a reservation about an hour ahead of time after a tweet, to meet a winemaker and taste with us. There will be a 10% discount for wines ordered on the spot.

Crispin Special Release Tasting
On Saturday the 23rd, we get a rare chance to taste some of the most exceptional ciders available! Crispin Ciders has offered 2 kegs of only 10 available of a special release they are calling ” Joan of Ark” and “Maid of Orleans”. These are their apple and pear ciders aged in sauvignon blanc barrels. Besides our highlight, we will be tasting one of my favorites, The Saint, an Apple cider fermented with Trappist beer yeast and natural maple syrup, the Honey crisp cider and of the Fox Barrel 12oz. line, Blackberry Pear cider. I can’t say enough good things about these fantastic good all year drinks. $5 gets you in from 5-7pm with 10% off w/ admission.

Sam Adams Deconstructed
We got a few cases today of a new project from Sam Adams focusing on 5 specific hop varietals (main character ingredient in I.P.A.),
1. East Kent Goldings
2. Zeus
3. Simcoe
4. Hallertau Mittelfrueh
5. Ahtanum
with the 6th bottle being their seasonal, Latitude 48, which contains all 5 hops. As far as craft education goes, in my opinion, this is one of the coolest projects out at the moment. $16.99 per 12 pak.
